In Australia, there is no requirement for flame retardants and we choose not to use any in either the foams or textiles as many of these chemicals are considered harmful to humans with long-term exposure.

The polyester fabric used does help to provide a natural level of fire resistance however, it is highly recommended to keep the mattress away from sources from heat sources such as electric bar fires, gas fires and open fires.
