While the permanent cover is not removable or machine-washable, the Joey Kids Mattress does feature a zip-off topper which can be machine washed.
The upper surface of the permanent cover features a water-resistant TPU fabric, which will make cleaning up night time accidents a breeze. You can wipe this layer down with a damp cloth.
Make sure not to remove or wash the permanent cover and do not wet or soak the mattress filling.
