What is a throw blanket?

A throw blanket, as the name suggests, is a more versatile blanket that’s designed to look like it’s just been thrown across your lounge or bed. It’s perfect to cuddle up with for a nap, or simply use as a decorative element to your living space.

Are your throws suitable for outdoors?

Unless stated, throws are designed for indoor use, however if you do bring them outside, we recommend you keep them away from direct sunlight and bring them inside at night.

How do I dispose of the packaging?

At what temperature should I wash my throw?

For best results, use a cold cycle for your throw. Each wash cycle leaves a carbon footprint, so by switching to cold water, you can reduce the amount of energy used by your machine — helping to decrease the overall environmental impact of your laund

Can I dry clean the throw?

Dry cleaning uses high temperatures and harsh chemicals which can damage and deteriorate the delicate, natural organic fibres. We recommend machine washing them on a cold cycle to keep your throw in the best condition.

Will the throw shrink in the dryer?

Our fabrics are made from natural organic fibres and while we have preshrunk our throws, it is not recommended to dry the throw using a dryer. We’d recommend air drying on the clothes line, ideally in a shaded location.

Can I put the throw in the dryer?

We would not recommend putting your throw in the dryer. Gently pull your throw to shape after washing and toss it over several lines in cool shade to air dry.

Can I iron the throws?

We do not recommend ironing as it is not required. However if you do wish to iron the throw, please follow the care instructions attached to the product.

Caring for your throws
