Any bed base with good support and ventilation will work with Koala mattresses.

• Slat bases: slats should be no more than 7.5cm apart to avoid sagging. Straight (flat) slats give the best comfort. Curved posture slats can be used, but they can make the mattress feel much softer than it is.
• The floor: we don't recommend it. Without ventilation underneath, moisture can build up. Here's why.
• Adjustable bed bases: we don't recommend them. Bending or folding the mattress can damage its core and support layers. More on adjustable bases.
