What type of bed frame do you recommend with the Koala Mattress?Updated 6 months ago
As long as your bed base has adequate support and ventilation, it'll work with our Koala mattress range. If it's a slat base, the slats should be no more than 7.5cm apart to avoid sagging. While posture slats can be used, they can make the mattress feel considerably softer than it actually is, so for the best comfort we recommend that they are straight (flat) slats.
We don't recommend using the mattress straight on the floor without ventilation underneath as this can lead to moisture build up, or on an adjustable bed as bending or folding the mattress might cause long-term damage to the core or supportive layers. If you do want to use the mattress on an adjustable bed, you'll need to ensure the bed is returned to the flat position when not being used to avoid long-term damage to your mattress.
If you need to buy a new base, check out our range of bed bases. They're super sturdy, no tools required and easy to assemble!
